Asset Finance Recovery Services (PTY) Ltd T/A AsFin Recovery Services (“AsFin”) is an outsourced debt collecting company that has been established in 2015 by Johan Koning, owner and director.
Johan Koning who has a proven track record With WesBank in excess of 15 years debt collecting experience, was one of the first agents to pilot the ANPR system.
The company started in 2015, in Gauteng with 3 staff, and a Cape Town office with 1 agent. AsFin has grown to 189 staff with a National footprint which includes areas such as Cape Town, Durban, Western Cape and Gauteng and Polokwane.
AsFin prides itself being associated with business partners such as ABSA Bank, Standard Bank, NedBank /MFC, BMW Finance , IEMAS Finance , GoMo Finance and Norman Bisset (Nimble Group).
“AsFin” provides a wide range of Debt Collecting solutions, from Trace Compliance Systems IVID (TCS) strategies, Debtor Tracing, Voluntary Surrender of Assets, Payment arrangements and any other Debt Collections function to minimise any possible risk and losses to your business.
Our staff are all registered with the council for Debt Collectors, and all staff have completed the relevant legislative training such as The National Credit Act, Code of Conduct for Debt Collectors, Consumer Protection Act and the Protection of Personal Information Act.

National Footprint

Asset Recovery Services has a centralized Contact Call Centre based in Krugersdorp which operates nationally with virtual representation within the different 9 provinces.

Under the period of review 2015 – currently “AsFin” has grown from 3 staff to 189 staff representing geographical areas such as Western Cape, Durban, Cape Town and Gauteng with 15 Automatic Number Plate Recognition vehicle roaming all over the parameters of the South African Borders.
AsFin aims to strategically align our growth opportunities with that of our customer needs, and we aim to open offices over a 2 year period in the following areas: Mpumalanga Eastern Cape (Inclusive of Mthatha and Lusikisiki) Further to the expansion possibilities of our company we strive to deploy another 2 Automatic Number Plate Recognition Vehicles, which will cover the Cape Town and Durban areas.
We are set to employ 25 new agents within the next 4 months, further widening our national footprint
